Unlike most marketers, I started my marketing career in the art world. As an art history major at Vassar College, I used to love sitting in class staring at images of art through the history of time. I fell in love with the idea that a visual had the power to tell a story about an artist, their beliefs and values all through the lens of the social and political times they were living in. I didn’t realize it then but my love of storytelling and visual content started right there in that classroom.
